10 simple ways to pay it forward this week 🫶
We’ve gotta say – you guys really love doing good for others (and we love to see it).
The last time we talked about simple ways to do something kind for others, the response was beyond amazing. It's clear you all appreciate the impact of small, positive gestures. Us too!
So we're back with more ideas for how to make a stranger's (or friend’s) day. Let's keep the good vibes rolling.

1. Leave a Book for a Stranger If you've just finished a deliciously good book, why not leave it in a public place with a little note inside on why you loved it? Hopefully, the next reader will enjoy it just as much! If you don’t want to leave it in a random spot, find a local neighbourhood library to donate it to. |

2. Plant a Tree in Someone's Name Do good for someone else and the planet! Why not donate/plant a tree in someone’s name? Make it anonymous – or spread the word – it doesn’t really matter. What matters is you’re providing an eco-friendly gift that provides long-lasting benefits to both the community and the planet. |

3. Write a Positive Online Review Small businesses thrive on word-of-mouth and online reviews. Take a few minutes to write a glowing review for somewhere you’ve recently visited – whether it’s an amazing little cafe or it’s someone’s services you used and found helpful. A little love goes a long way. |

4. Offer Your Skill Set Good at fixing things or perhaps a whiz at setting up technology? Offer your services for free to someone who needs it but can’t afford it. Not sure where to find people? Try putting a call-out in your local suburb’s Facebook group. |

5. Leave Kind Notes Have you ever received a random, kind note from a stranger? Sadly we haven't either, but we’d bloody love to get one. For this one, all you need to do is write a li’l uplifting message on a sticky note and leave them in public places (without littering, of course). You could stick notes on bathroom mirrors, or pop them inside library books… you get the drift. Some cute message inspo for you:

6. Share Your Dog Got a friendly pup? Take them to a local park and let kids (or adults) who are interested spend some time playing with your doggo. There’s no better way to spread love than through an adorable pupper. |

7. Smile At Strangers Do you generally avoid eye contact with strangers as you pass by? Well, try chuck ‘em a smile! Not in a creepy way of course, but a genuine smile at people walking by you can really foster your sense of community and improve your mood (and theirs!) |

8. Offer to Take a Group Photo Ever seen a group fumbling to fit everyone into a selfie? Next time, offer to take the photo for them. It's a quick and easy way to help out some struggling strangers. Plus, you'll get to be the hidden talent behind their perfect shot, making both their day and yours a bit brighter. |

9. Pick Up Litter No one likes a litter bug but sadly, littering still happens. So, why not carry a small bag with you on your daily walks and pick up any litter you see? It’s a double win: you improve the environment and set an example for others. |

10. Let Someone Go Ahead of You in Line If you’re not in a hurry and the person behind you has fewer things, let them go ahead of you at the checkout line. It's a small gesture, but one that can relieve a surprising amount of stress for someone who might be running late, in a hurry, or simply having a tough day. And the best part? It costs you nothing but a few extra minutes. |
Just remember: small but meaningful actions create larger chain reactions. And the world could do with some more positivity and kindness right now, don’t ya think?🌻
Sending you all the good vibes for your week ahead,
Nakie HQ
